Remove Mouse Lessons from Keyboarding Foundations K-2 (Teacher)

In the Keyboarding Foundations K-2 curriculum, the very first lesson available to students is on how to use a mouse. However, we understand that in many cases, younger students may be working on devices that do not utilize mice. If this is the case, you may want to disable this feature.

As a teacher, you are able to eliminate this by classroom or by the particular student.

To remove mouse lessons by classroom, first, select your classroom.

Then, select your Settings tab.

From here, select the Lesson Settings tab.

Now, scroll all the way down to the K2 Mouse Lessons drop down. Set it to Disabled.

When you’re finished, press Apply.
​

To remove mouse lessons for a single student or group of students, first, select your classroom.
​

Then, select the checkbox(es) next to the name(s) of the student(s) for whom you’d like to disable the mouse lessons.

Now, select Accommodations from the window on the right.

Select the Settings tab.
​

Now, make sure Mouse Lesson (K2 Only) is unchecked.

When you’re finished, press Apply.
