As a District Administrator you will be able to view reports at the highest level for your account. These reports are designed to be multi-school level reports. Because the amount of data can be very large at this level it is recommended that you export the data and view it offline in a program like excel.
To view Reporting you will first need to log in to your district administrator account. Once logged in you will need to find the Reporting icon on the screen. It will be the second option from the right Below is what the icon looks like:
Once you click on Reporting you will be presented with a new screen. Below you will see the following buttons:
Each of these areas have there own data set and can be useful to administrators in their own way. Lets go over each of these sections as they appear in order:
Grade Level Scheduled Tests
Shows a per grade graph of the results of a district-wide scheduled test
Monthly Usage Report: Customizable by date range, this report shows the number of active teachers and students in the program
Detailed School Usage Report: Customizable by date range, this report displays a per school list of the number of Active Teachers, Students, Lessons Completed, Time Spent, Average Accuracy, and Average WPM.
Teacher Usage Report:
Customizable by date range, this report shows teachers use of the program. This report also displays the Number of Active Students, Lessons Completed, Time Spent, Average Accuracy, and Average WPM of that teachers students. Please note: for teachers with students who report to multiple teachers, reporting is only displayed for that students primary teacher. Teachers who are co-teachers of a class, those who are listed as the primary are provided with the scores of that class.
Grade Usage Report:
Customizable by date range, this report shows usage on a per school per grade basis. This report also displays the Number of Active Students, Lessons Completed, Time Spent, Average Accuracy, and Average WPM of the students.
For all reports in the Usage category in the top right there is a download symbol (an arrow pointing downward with a line underneath) That is the export or download report button. Just click that button and export any of these reports as a CSV file.
A chronological record of files uploaded to the Typing Agent servers from your account.
7 day, 30 day, and all days record of actions taken by staff users in the account.
Reporting that can be broken down into three categories School, Classroom, and Student. Each of these categories provides several data point options to give allow you to choose what info you wish to retrieve. How to use Custom Reports:
In each section of Custom Reports the tool is the same. You will have two windows, the one on the left will have data point options for you to select. The window on the right will be the options the report will run. Using the arrows in the middle and your mouse simply select the data points you wish to run and click on the arrow pointing right to move that option to the right screen. Once there, you can click and drag the options in the order you wish them to appear on your report. Any option on the top will appear on the leftmost side of the report.
Once you run a report the information will appear below the green Run Report button. if you wish to export this information look for the blue arrow icon that will appear
Depending on the information requested and the size of your account a report can take a few moments to display.
