The Advanced Coding curriculum is a great way for students to further their accuracy learning to type code with lines of Python to execute commands for a virtual pirate ship upon completion. For each lesson, a student will also be told what they are doing with the code they are typing!

The students can see the results of their “coding” upon completion of each lesson, as shown below.

How do I enable “Advanced Coding”?

You can enable Advanced Coding for an entire class, or for a specific student/group of students.

For class:

 First, select your Class

Then, select Settings.

From here, select Curriculum

Now, scroll down to Advanced Coding.

You can set the number of Experience Points required for students to unlock Advanced Coding lessons or simply enable it right away for them by entering 2

For specific students:

First, select your Class.

Then, click your Students tab.

Select the check box next to the student to trigger the fly-out menu. From here, select Curriculum.

Now, scroll down to Advanced Coding.

You can set the number of Experience Points required for students to unlock Advanced Coding lessons or simply enable it right away for them by entering 2.
