There are up to four categories of data to add into Typing Agent: Schools, Teachers/School Admins, Classrooms, and Students. Classrooms can only be added after Teachers and School Admins have been added. It's most efficient to add Classrooms before Students so you can assign Students to Classrooms when they're added.

Classes can be added in bulk with a CSV file, one at a time with a web form.

CSV

CSV templates and details on the exact data required can be found under each roles section to add classes (see below). 

  • District Admins can add Classrooms with a CSV by going to District Dashboard>Classrooms tab, click ‘+ Create Class’, then 'Upload Classrooms'.
  • School Admins can add Classrooms with a CSV by going to School Setup>Upload Classes.
  • Teachers can add Classrooms with a CSV by going to Class Setup>Upload Classes.

Webform

Classrooms can be added one at a time using the built in webform. 

  • District Admins can add Classrooms via webform by going to District Dashboard>Classrooms tab, click ‘+ Create Class’, then 'Single Classroom'.
  • School Admins and Teachers can add Classrooms via webform by going to Classes and clicking '+ New Classroom', 
  • Teachers can add Classrooms with a CSV by going to Class Setup>Upload Classes.
