In the Keyboarding 3+ Curriculum, students are awarded a star-based rating on how well they have done in a lesson. Typing Agent provides default settings for this star rating evaluation, but it's fully adjustable by account administrators or teachers to ensure your students are working at a pace suitable to them.  The star rating is a great visual representation for the student to let them gauge how they are progressing in each lesson. The star setting for each lesson should reflect the setting set in grade book as to help the student see how well they are doing per the class scoring requirements.  Stars earned by student for each world are displayed in the student Path dashboard as shown below:

Lesson Tile Guide:

  • Total Stars Possible: This is the amount of stars a student can achieve by earning 3 stars in each lesson.

  • Total Stars Earned: This is how many stars the student has achieved thus far.

  • World Title: Throughout the curriculum, different worlds will be categorized by lesson topic. (e.g., "Health", "Digital Citizenship", "Literature", etc.)

  • Number of Lessons: The number of lessons in the world.
