As a District Administrator, you are able to manage which curriculums are available to certain grade levels within your district by default. This means that when a student enters their Typing Agent account, these are the available options they have to work on.

Enabling/Disabling Curriculum by Grade

To manage your default curriculum settings, first select School Management from your dashboard.

Then, select the Grade Settings tab.

Now, select the grade(s) you would like to set the curriculum for.

Once here, you can check the boxes next to the curriculum you would like to appear for all students of that grade by default. You can uncheck the ones you would not prefer them to have as well.

When you are finished, scroll down and select Save.

Allowing Teachers/School Administrators to Manage Curriculum

You can also let the teachers or school administrators within your account manage these settings for their specific classes or schools as they see fit.

To allow or disallow this, first select School Management from your dashboard.

Then, select the Permissions tab.

Now, you can set the abilities for certain staff to be able to make changes to their students’ curriculums. The available options are:

  1. District Admin. You alone can manage the curriculum, and staff will not be able to modify it.

  2. District  + School Admin. You and school administrator level staff are able to modify the curriculum, and teachers cannot.

  3. District + School Admin + Teacher. Each staff member is able to manage his or her own school and classroom’s curriculums.

When you are finished, scroll down and select Save.
