As a teacher, you may want to manage the different curriculums that Typing Agent has to offer. Before doing anything, you can take an in-depth look at all of the curriculums so you have an idea of what is going on in them. When you're ready, you can assign curriculums to your classrooms manually or simply use our default settings. This means that when students are created within this classroom, they will get only the curriculums you've made available to them. Should you want only a single or a certain group of students to have access to certain curriculums, you have the ability to do this.

Viewing Curriculum:

From your dashboard, select Curriculum.

From here, you can scroll down to view the ten possible curriculums available in Typing Agent. Not all of them should be served up at once so this is why we recommend that you review them or let Typing Agent's default settings lead the way.

To view what is contained in each curriculum, click on the button that states the number of lessons in that curriculum to take a look at them.

Now, you’ll be able to see each lesson. If you click on the title of the lesson, you’ll be able to view the contents of that lesson.

As a note, the “filter by path” option is exclusively applicable to the Keyboarding Foundations curriculums. This "filtering by path" feature permits teachers to view the variety of texts available to students depending on how well they did on the placement tests. Assigning Curriculums To A Classroom

 First, select your Classroom

Then, select the Settings tab.

From here, select the Curriculum tab.

Now, find the curriculum you’d like to enable.

Click the Assign All button to assign it to all students. A checkmark will appear on that button to show it is activated. You click Remove All should you not want all students in that classroom to do this curriculum.

Some curriculums are available only after students have successfully completed a certain number of lessons well. You can override our default settings by adjusting the number of Experience Points (stars) required for students to unlock the curriculum. Enter 3 in the Exp Points field so that students must complete two keyboarding lessons successfully, then select Assign All. Once they finish one or two lessons, that curriculum will automatically open for them.

Assigning Curriculums to An Individual Student or Group of Students

First, select your Classroom.

Then, click your Students tab.

Select the check box next to the student(s) to trigger the fly-out menu. From here, select Curriculum.

Now, scroll down to the curriculum you’d like to enable.

Click the Assign All button to assign it to the selected student(s). A checkmark will appear on that button to show it is activated. Conversely, click the Remove All button should you not want the students to do this curriculum. You can set the number of Experience Points required for students to unlock the curriculum or simply enable it right away for them by entering 3 and selecting Assign All.
