Typing Agent offers Single Sign-On for Google, Office 365, ClassLink, and Clever. This can make it much simpler to log in, keep track of passwords and usernames, and provide a more cohesive experience with the program as a whole.

Google Single Sign-On

Your admin staff and students will see a Google button you can use to sign in. The first time, you will be asked by Google to authorize Typing Agent to connect with your Google profile. You must accept this to keep logging in with Google Single Sign-On.

To properly work, the staff/student username in Typing Agent must be their Google email address, and their password must be their Google password.

Microsoft Single Sign-On

Your staff and students will see a Microsoft button you can use to sign in. The first time, you will be asked by Microsoft to authorize Typing Agent to connect with your Office 365 profile. You must accept this to keep logging in with Microsoft Single Sign-On.

To properly work, the staff/student username in Typing Agent must be their Office 365 email address, and their password must be their Office 365 password.

ClassLink Single Sign-On

Your staff and students will see a ClassLink button you can use to sign in. The first time, you will be asked by ClassLink to authorize Typing Agent to connect with your ClassLink profile. You must accept this to keep logging in with ClassLink Single Sign-On.

Clever Single Sign-On

Clever Single Sign-On is automatically enabled when Clever syncing is active. While students and staff can log in to Typing Agent directly through their Clever dashboards, they can also use the button to log in with Clever on your Typing Agent page.

As a District Administrator, you’ll then need to make sure that you’ve enabled the Single Sign-On option in your school portal. This will allow the students and staff to click the appropriate button to log in to the program.

Enabling Single Sign-On Option

First, select School Management.

From here, navigate to your District Portal tab.

Scroll down and select the checkbox next to the Single Sign-On method you’d like your students and staff to use.

Now, go to your district's unique Typing Agent web address that your account rep. created and sent to you. (It is NOT https://typingagent.com.) The name of your district must always be at the top of your web page. If you're not sure of this, contact your account rep or Typing Agent Support and we will help you.

Once you are on your district's Typing Agent web page, make sure the button to sign on with your preferred method is present.  From here, your staff and students can log in with the preferred method, or manually with their username and password.
